CNY Preparation IV - Fried Nga gu

My hubby like fried nga gu very much, so I decided to do this in CNY. Initially I wanted to fry 10kg of nga gu, who knows he felt that is too much, then I go for 5kg. 5kg of nga gu only cost me RM25, however, a small bottle of fried nga gu selling at RM11-- the cheapest!! I saw some are selling at RM19.. crazy.. better DIY. Em.. may be next year.. I shoud "bai dong" to sell fried nga gu for extra income, ha ha.. I felt that is a good money ..

While preparing for this, I was thinking, what other way to get more income? Money always not enough no matter how much your salary increased from previous year. I was wonder how could I survived with RM1k plus in my first job? with the same amount, for sure.. I can't now. Is this cause inflation? devalued of money? or expectation of my lifestyle getting higher?

bakery? MLM? online instant money? mmm... good to think of it and start practice..

Preparation for CNY III - Medical Checkup

It was dragged eversince before our wedding. Thanks to my hubby, finally, he braught for our "Pre-merital" check up. I'm still think that the term doesn't reflecting us.. ha ha..

I got the report 3 days after our check up. Both us having high cholesterol.. :( mostly because of our meal habit. Not healthy .. although we know that is an unhealthy habit. Human being.. hard to change as we don't how exactly it is!

Well.. now we know. Of cos!! It was written down black and white, and it kick off our health conscious.. start to consumpt EPA to reduce it. My hubby need to take 1 more supplement - Lecithin to reduce some other type of cholesterol.. which will affect liver function if it become serious. Age like him, should take care of his good health oso .. ya .. i know.. me too ha ha..

Another wishes in 2009, hope that both of us as well as our family and frens.. Healthy always!!

Preparation for CNY II + Big Bean Family

I was informed that, the Loh's family is all coming to my house for reunion dinner. I almost fainted while I heard this!! U know how many of them?? I think easily 20 in total .. OMG! I will be work like mad on CNY eve, can't imagine that I'll be bz in meal preparing like AUNTY!! Excuse me... I'm not aunty ok.. I can't be aunty.. dunno y this will happened to me.... HELP.. who can rescue me from this???

BTW, I have a nice steamboat yesterday at 大豆place.. A yen really good in preparing all these.. variery of food and soup + chili source are nice!! thumb up!!superb!! haha.. both of them are easi-going person, out spoken .. I like them so much ... I know them via my hubbby - WH, 大豆is his bro.. very very close brother... we really appreciate our relationship.. like frens .. like family.. I wishi 大豆&Yen and their familly ... healthy and happy always..

Preparation for CNY 1

First CNY with in laws. no idea with their culture and norm of CNY preparation..
and first time for me to clean up the house on my own, first time in buying this and that with hubby, first time giving out ang pao....tiring but exciting. oh.. almost forgot, first time to prepare reunion dinner, a BIG challenge for a newbie in cooking. worrying i'll be screwing up the dinner. ha ha..

Anyway, i'll try my best la.. practice on some dishes first.. expected, hubby will be my white rat, pitty him. em.. my first identified dish will be 干煎蝦"琭". Hopefully , this is a another success story la~~

Lost of Contact

I have been searching for my college friends who lost contact with us since graduated - Queen Teo. Tried to search via friendster and facebook, failed. Either she did not registered to both networking or .. change her name or put on some other nick name.

Anyone can suggest any other way to find a friend? Miss her so much .. n miss her laugh, cheerful and our great time that we had.
